Kaye loves her neigbhourhood and sometimes you can see her sitting outside her house, where all the neigbhours know her and stop for a chat whenever they pass.
Kaye and her friend Sue who stopped by on her way to the post office.
Some of Kaye's memories. From top left her mum, Kaye and her sister and Kaye with her Husband Tom. Tom was a milkman when they first got together and then worked as a postman.
Kaye has a passion for photography and music. She is a big fan of Elvis and loves his early stuff; when he was rock'n'roll!
Kaye is putting some make-up on before her portrait.
Kaye among her friends and family. The heart was given to her by one of the neighbours when Kaye felt down after loosing her husband last year.
Besides music and photography, flowers is another hobby of Kaye.
This old photo by Kaye shows the old stock and whipping post outside St John's Church near the police station.
Kaye in her early 20s.
Kaye and her first boyfriend who took her out on his scooter. "We were rockers!", she told us. The photo was taken on Rushmore Road.
Lea Canal by Millfields Park.
Kaye is one of the biggest personalities in the area. She is often spotted on Chatsworth Road taking photos and she loves showing the pictures to visitors and talking about her boyfriends. Kaye met Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton when they came to the Pedro Club in 1969. She thinks Chatsworth Road has become cosmopolitian, which she finds fantastic. The neighbourhood is becoming better and better she told us, and she welcomes the arrivals of new bars and cafes.
