Süleyman The Cobbler
Kemal Süleyman, originally from Northern Cyprus, came to London with his wife in the 1960s. Kemal then opened his shoe repair shop Chatsworth Road in 1967, and like most shop keepers on Chatsworth Road he is hardworking and loves his job. Now he is 76 years old and his health is not as good as it used to be so he has sold the building and will soon cease his business. Sad days for the locals who will loose a great shoe cobbler and nostalgic for Kemal who loves working. Kemal let us sneak around his shop for a few minutes to document four decades fo craft and skills.
